Mark Roberts, actor, comedian, and playwright best known for creating the American sit-com Mike & Molly, has written and illustrated The Lonely Banjo, a delightfully satirical collection of stories that belongs on everyone’s bookshelf.
This anthology features 26 rhyming and non-rhyming tales that will appeal to kids and adults alike. You’ll meet a loud-mouthed squirrel, dueling beans, an aging banana named Rebecca Sue, and many more. The stories within these pages are silly, witty, thought-provoking, and often poignant.
The funds accrued from book sales and public readings will be scattered amongst various children’s charities and organizations that provide for young people in need.
